Position Description:
GIS SPECIALIST. City of Healdsburg. Salary range $5,723-$6,984 per month, DOQ, plus excellent benefit package. Under general supervision, develop, support, and maintain new and existing GIS (Geographical Information System) layers and GIS user applications in a LAN/WAN environment as well as provide occasional helpdesk support on a variety of hardware, software and telephony platforms. Education equivalent to four years of college level coursework from a fully accredited college or university with a major in GIS, geography, computer science or a related field and three years of related GIS work experience using ESRI’s (Environmental Systems Research Institute) ArcView. A Bachelor’s Degree is highly desirable.
