We have two positions open here at the Board that might be of interest to your students or recent grads.  Some info is below:

·         Scientific Aide - http://jobs.spb.ca.gov/wvpos/more_info.cfm?recno=628938.   This is a paid position that might be perfect for a current student in environmental science, geology, or geography.  We are looking for someone with solid GIS skills that has some science background and wants to work on watershed and water quality issues.
·         Environmental Scientist -  http://jobs.spb.ca.gov/wvpos/more_info.cfm?recno=629115.  This is a permanent, full time staff position as a watershed steward.  The job will include work on a sediment-impaired watershed in Humboldt County and the ideal candidate needs to be able to coordinate stakeholders with a variety of perspectives.  In order to be eligible to apply for this position, candidates need to have a degree in environmental studies or biology and have successfully passed an environmental scientist exam with the state.

Please distribute to anyone you think might be interested.  If there are any questions, please call or email me.

Thank you,
